Below you will find detailed instructions on how the process works and which steps are required.

1. Login to the US Visa Account
   After your purchase here in the US Visa Portal, log in to your US Visa Account with the access data you have created. Here you can now start the process of applying for your visa online and keep track of all documents and the status of your application at all times.
   
   
2. Filling out the DS-160 questionnaire
   In the next step, we ask you to complete the online questionnaire for the DS-160 visa application. As the waiting times for appointments at the US consulates can currently be up to four months, it is important that we receive the necessary information from you in the first step in order to book an appointment for you. You can save this questionnaire at any time and edit it later. Please note: Without a fully completed DS-160 Question mask we will not be able to process your visa application. Please note that no changes can be made after you have submitted your application.
   
   
3. Upload passport and passport photo
   To arrange the appointment for you at the consulate, we need a copy of your passport and a current passport photo. Please upload these documents to your US Visa Account.
   
   
4. Making an appointment at the consulate
   We will immediately contact the US consulate of your choice to find a suitable interview date. The appointment confirmation will be stored directly in your US Visa Account. You can view the appointment there at any time.
   
   
5. Preparation for the interview
   To ensure that everything runs smoothly during the interview at the US Consulate, we will provide you with a detailed checklist with instructions on how to get there, the process in the building and tips for the interview. If you wish, you can also book a telephone consultation to help you prepare for your appointment.
   
   
6. Interview at the US Consulate
   Allow sufficient time for your journey and the interview at the consulate. The waiting time on site can be between 30 and 90 minutes, the actual interview usually only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
   
   
7. After the interview: Upload and check the visa
   After your interview, we will check the online status of your application and inform you whether your visa has been approved and your passport with the visa has been sent or is ready for collection. Once you have received your passport with the visa, we will ask you to upload a photo of the visa. Our consultants will then check that all the details are correct.
